ENGLISH FOR STUDENTS OF PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION: DESIGNING A TEXTBOOK

This paper considers some issues in designing a textbook for students of psychology and education enrolled the same ESP course. These include balancing students’ objective subjective learning needs selection real content aimed at developing necessary competences accordance with course objectives, as well selecting carrier to satisfy interests both disciplines. An additional challenge involves accommodating different levels language proficiency, while also taking into account their evolving specialist knowledge.
